Regulatory Compliance for Mediated Networks

This article is designed to help publishers ensure regulatory compliance for mediation when using a mediation service to target specific audiences.

The table below outlines each ad network’s support for key privacy compliance indicators, such as child-directed flags, GDPR, and CCPA signals. It includes the following:

• Age API: Indicates whether the ad network supports the DT isChild API to indicate a user is a child.

• GDPR IAB Privacy String: Indicates whether the ad network supports the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) GDPR string.

• GDPR Flag: Indicates where the GDPR Boolean flag should be set. For example, in the DT FairBid SDK, network dashboard RTB request. For more information about how to set this flag in the DT FairBid SDK, see GDPR.

• CCPA IAB Opt-Put String: Indicates whether the IAB Opt-Out CCPA privacy string should be set. Some ad networks support only the specific strings outlined in the table. For more information about how to pass this string via the DT FairBid SDK, see CCPA Privacy String.
